A tribute to Mickey

Mickey the border collie is now herding sheep in animal heaven. He was a cherished member of our family and as an obsessive working breed , he took on the job of focusing 100% on pleasing us. Whether it was guarding the baby, herding the visitors, fetching objects or just plan being attentive...Mickey was one proud animal. We miss him.

Fabulous Cat

Isn't she fantastic? This is the most independent, spoiled, self-centered kitty on the planet. But she is definitely proud.

Proud Animals

This is the inaugural post for Proud Animals and we are featuring a wonderful wild young deer that was proudly resting under a tree in my yard in Northern California. You can see a little birdbath next to him where he was drinking water. After seeing him I bought deer food to put out but I never saw him again.
